Count the bikes in Kingston at 10am today. Imagine how much space it would take up if these people all arrived by car instead?

Cyclists coming off the Arran ferry at Ardrossan, while the next batch waits to board.

Finishing work still required at the southern end of the Garscube Road protected cycle lane. It will connecting into the underpass and other existing cycle infrastructure through Cowcaddens.

It may not be finished, but a dropped kerb at Panmure Gate would be nice. The path now leads to the Claypit Local Nature Reserve.

Cycle parking, steps and a ramp at the new Panure Gate entrance to the Claypits Local Nature Reserve. The boardwalk leads along the side of the canal and connects to the new bridge at #153304.

Route sign directs cyclists across a level crossing with awkward kissing gates either side #153284 , dismount, then walk across a pedestrian only bridge rather than ride a short stretch of carriageway. And just in case folk might think this ... [more]
